Petit h is the experimental atelier of Hermès where creativity meets sustainability. Founded by Pascale Mussard, the Paris-based studio redefines luxury through reuse and reinvention. Hermès’ surplus materials are transformed into singular handcrafted objects that give forgotten materials extraordinary new life.

For its Seoul exhibition, petit h collaborated with Korean artist Yeondoo Jung to reimagine Maison Hermès Dosan Park as a kinetic dreamlike environment shaped by the rhythms of the four seasons. Known for blending sculpture installation and media art, Jung brought themes of nature, memory, and transformation into a scenography that blurred the line between the natural and the crafted.

The project continuously explored how far nature could be brought into a carefully controlled space without losing its essence. Real bark softened the floors, stones anchored the rooms, and translucent acrylic panels filtered light in shifting tones. A custom soundscape echoed the changing seasons from the breath of winter to the rustle of spring. Leather animals swayed gently from branches and silk pouches rested on lotus leaves. Each moment was carefully composed yet carried a sense of quiet spontaneity.

The scenography embodied the philosophy of petit h. Materials were layered and reimagined to strike a balance between refinement and organic texture. The space came alive through movement, color, and sound offering a sensory experience rooted in imagination and renewal.
